BIO
I was born in the city of Taian in the east of China. I studied Polymer Science and Engineering for B.S. in Zhejiang University. In 2012, I moved to the U.S. for Ph.D. studies in Chemistry at the University of California, Berkeley. At Berkeley, my research in Prof. Peidong Yang's group focused on the development of semiconductor and metal nanowires for electronic and energy harvesting applications. In 2018, I joined Prof. David Pine's group as a Postdoctoral Associate at the Center of Soft Matter Research at New York University. At NYU, I spent my time understanding the complex interactions between DNA-coated colloids and the dynamics of their self-assembly.

Outside the lab
Life is not all about science. Here are some things I enjoy.
Outdoors: We are avid hikers and enjoy all sorts of outdoor activities, such as biking, kayaking, camping, and skiing.
Music: I play Guzheng, a traditional Chinese plucked string instrument.
